My professonal qualifications

  • Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy (St Albans)

  • MA in Pastoral Studies (Heythrop College, University of London)

  • BEd in Pedagogics and MA in Human Biology (Moscow State University)

  • As Individual Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am bound by their 'Ethical Framework for Good Pracrice' and subject to their 'Professional conduct Procedure' which can be found on their website www.bacp.co.uk
    My experience
    In addition to my private practice I do voluntary counselling work at Kingston Women Centre (Surrey).
    I worked as a counsellor for TASHA Foundation Charity in Brentford and Staines. I also worked for more than ten years with immigrants, refugees and expatriates coming from different countries, including Americans, Poles, Iranians, Indians and many others. I lived and worked in Russia, Sweden and England for many years.

    Having been a political refugee from Sovjet Union myself in the 90ties, I can understand well the experience of people who feel different from the mainstream of society in their culture and religion.
    I respect and appreciate individual differences in spirituality, life style and in many other ways.

    My approach to counselling
    I am a Person-Centred counsellor, which means that I am a skillful facilitator of my clients' growth towards better coping with their life.
    I am a Member of British Association of Person-Centred Approach (BAPCA).
